Day 1

Head to your hotel in Seoul on your own

It would be fast way to your hotel > KAL Limousine bus no. 6701 in front of bus stop at Incheon airport.

Get off at Koreana Hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast

After breakfast, head to meeting point until 8:00am, the parking lot of Dongwha Dutyfree mall on your own by walking (It takes about 1min from hotel.)

Meeting and Departure

• Meeting at parking lot next to Dongwha duty free shop at exit number 6of Gwanghwamun subway station at 8am

Gongju Tour

• Tomb of King Muryeong 

Songsan-ri Tombs and Royal Tomb of King Muryeong (AD462-523) containsrepresentative relics of the Baekje Dynasty period (AD234~678). The Songsan-riTombs contain the graves of kings while Baekje's capital was Gongju, and it isbelieved to have 10 such graves. Only seven graves have been discovered sofar. 

The popular Tomb of King Muryeong is the 7th tomb, the resting place forBaekje's 25th King Muryeong and his queen. This tomb was discoveredaccidentally when installing pipes to protect tombs number 5 and 6 from beingflooded. The tomb is very unusual in the way it was built with bricks like 6thtomb and in what it houses like many national treasures inside, supplyingprecious research materials to the scholars studying Baekje culture.

  

• Gongsanseong Fortress

Located in Gongju-si (city), it is a mountain castle established during theBaekje. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Geumgang riverside righthere. Follow the trail path a little further up then Imryugak Pavilion appearing,known as the largest of its kind within the fortress. It is worth to visit forits historical and cultural significance, and also for the fantastic sight. 


Buyeo Tour

● Stop by“NakhwaamCliff Observatory” 

Nakhwaam is a rock cliff towering over Baengmagang River in the northern end of Busosan Mountain. According to the legend, this is where the royal court women of Baekje jumped off to kill themselves when the kingdom of Baekje was defeated during the invasion of Sabiseong Fortress (now Busosanseong Fortress in Buyeo) by the Shilla-Tang Alliance. The name of this rock, Nakhwaam, literally means "the cliff of falling flowers" and symbolizes the fidelity and loyalty of Baekje women.



Jeonju Hanok Village

• Jeonju Hanok Village

While the rest of city has been industrialized,Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions. It is particularly gorgeous for its unique roofedges, which are slightly raised to the sky.A part of Hanok (traditional Korean house) is setaside so that tourists can experience traditional Korean life at Hanok LifeExperience Hall. The food provided here is folkloristic like bibimbap, the most well-known dishin Korea, adding to the conventional ambience.

May 18th National Cemetery

• May 18th National Cemetery

Visit to May 18th NationalCemetery, located in front of MudeungsanMountain, the symbol of freedom and democracy, and the graves of victims duringthe contention for democracy in May 1980. Victims were carried by handcarts andgarbage trucks to be buried. In 1997 the cemetery was exhumed and reburied atthis memorial. May 18th has become a regional holiday of commemorating thepeople's desire for democracy.

Suncheon Tour

• Suncheon Bay Garden

The Suncheon Bay Garden was established in order toturn 1.12 square kilometers of natural habitat into a conservation area, whereit houses over 505 species of trees and 113 species of flowers. Especially, thenumerous groups of tulips and royal azaleas are truly a sight to see. Besides, thenearby 30,000-square-meter field of canola flowers are in full bloom in May,creating breathtakingly beautiful yellow "wave" with trees makinggreat shades of canopy for the area.


• Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve

Suncheonman Bay's reedfield covers a total area of approximately 495,867, encompassing the regions of Gyoryang-dong andDaedae-dong in Suncheon as well as Haeryong-myeon's Jungheung-ri, Haechang-ri,and Seonhak-ri. The reed field starts from the confluence of Dongcheon andIsacheon Streams, and stretches along both sides of the stream forapproximately 3 kilometers until it reaches the main reed colony at SuncheonmanBay. The reed fields in Suncheonman Bay are thickly covered with reeds tallerthan a full-grown man. It is the biggest colony of reeds in Korea. The scene ofthe entire field swaying in the wind is like watching waves on the sea.Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve is a natural habitat for birds of over 140species, including migratory and endangered bird species such as the hoodedcrane, white-naped crane, Oriental White Stork, black-faced spoonbill, EurasianOystercatcher as well as birds designated as natural treasures.


Yeosu Tour

• Yi, Sun-Sin Plaza 

During the Japanese invasion of the Imjin Waeran War (1592~1598), Admiral Yi,Sun-shin, a national hero whose naval victories of 23 times in battles werephenomenal in repelling Japanese naval forces, had his headquarters in Yeosu. Forthis reason, the site displays a lot of artifacts honoring his heroic endeavorsin protecting the country. As a great leader of Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) , hesaved his country when it was on the brink of crisis.

Jinju Tour

● Jinjuseong Fortress

Originally built as (GeoyeolCastle) during the three kingdom period and  
historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592, defending the Honamregion from the invaders during the Imjin Waeran (war). One of the bestrenovated fortresses in the country, sitting on the north of the Nam-gangoverlooking the city.



●  Chokseongnu Pavilion

Standing grandly above therocky cliffs of Namgang river is Chokseongnu Pavilion, arguably one of the mostbeautiful ‘nugaks’ (multi-storied building without walls) in the Yeongnamregion. Chokseongnu (historically known as ‘Jangwollu’) has undergone 8renovations since its establishment in the 28th year of King Gojong (1241,Goryeo Dynasty) and was once used as a stronghold for defending Jinju Palace intimes of war. During times of peace, it was used for holding stateexaminations.

Gyeongju Tour

● Gyeongjuis called a museum without walls, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul,it became the capital of the Silla Dynasty (BC56) and remained so for about1000 years. It preserves a vast amount of significant archaeological heritagewith its historical district designated as World Heritage by UNESDCO. 


● Seokguram(Optional tour :(US$6 PP)

TheSeokguram grotto, a stone temple (This UNESCO heritage dates back to 751) is around-shaped hall with one main Bodhi-sattva stone statue surrounded by hisdisciples. The statue is portrayed with a generous smile, sitting on a lotusflower engraved stage. The dome shaped ceiling is also decorated with lotusflowers. On the other hand, the spot where the temple is situated offers aunique and beautiful sunrise view.   


● Bulguksa Temple

Bulguksa Temple is the representative relic ofGyeongju and was designated as a World Cultural Asset by UNESCO in 1995, withthe beauty of the temple itself and the artistic touch of the stone relics. Thetemple now holds seven national treasures and a number of additionalsignificant heritages. Bulguksa is widely regarded as one of the finestcomplexes dedicated to the Buddhism of Korea.  


Andong Hahoe Village Tour
